Entrepreneurship and R&D(E): Perspectives on change

Allison Clark, 2018 Tasmanian AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Winner

As a part of her AgriFutures project entitled What happens when an idea possesses you?, Allison has produced the following Green Paper, which tackles the question ‘where does industry research and development fit in and how easy is it for people to find and use it when they need to?’.

This Green Paper seeks to understand how our view of the agricultural R&D ecosystem is influenced by innovation adoption curves. It also considers how change happens and how this could influence research and development ecosystems.

Her project is designed to encourage thought about the challenges faced by individuals with diversity, disadvantage, and disability in rural, regional and remote communities and improve outcomes for individuals with literacy challenges who are working to transform an idea into a successful business enterprise.
