Calls for more action to address sexual harassment within the workplace

Belinda Hazell, our Principal Consultant and chair of Tasmanian Women in Agriculture (TWiA), could be heard calling for stronger action to address sexual harassment within the workplace in an interview with Tony Briscoe on Tasmanian Country Hour this week.

A recent survey conducted by TWiA discovered that 78% of respondents had been harassed in the workplace in some way, shape or form. She says, “…those statistics are appalling, and we need to do something about it”.
